Eli Juma Abbas is hard at work. After four years he has finished his plumber apprenticeship and is now in a trade he loves. 9 years ago it was a different story. Before migrating to Wagga Wagga, he had spent half his life living in refugee camps in Uganda and Sudan. His employer, Greg Charleson from Laser Plumbing Wagga Wagga, is hoping Eli's story will inspire others to get an apprenticeship.
